Are your pearls real?

Yes. Every Lespéra piece uses genuine natural freshwater pearls, hand-selected for luster and character. Because they are natural, slight variations in size, shape, and surface — including growth lines — are normal and are the mark of an authentic pearl.

Why doesn't my pearl look perfectly round or identical to the photo?

Natural pearls are formed, not manufactured. Near-round shapes, gentle size variation, and subtle texture differences are expected and beautiful. If you are looking for machine-perfect uniformity, our pieces may not be the right fit — and we're honest about that.

How should I care for my pearls?

Last on, first off: put pearls on after perfume and cosmetics, and take them off before showering, swimming, or exercising. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing and store them in their box, away from other jewelry. See our Care page for more.
